The most common sports law disputes in our country; It creates football disputes due to social interest, economic share and volume. These disputes are the disputes between the athlete and the sports club or the trainer and the sports club due to the non-payment of the progress payments. A special application mechanism has been established, taking into account the quantity of disputes in the football sector and the need for urgent resolution. The application authority for the said disputes is the Dispute Resolution Board established under the Turkish Football Federation. As a result of the examinations of a chairman and two members, the decision is made by majority of votes in accordance with the regulations and the relevant legislation accepted by the Turkish Football Federation. The parties can apply to the arbitration board against the decisions rendered.
